Pain is felt to those who are alive

What’s more painful? Pain that you feel when your body gets hurt somewhere, or the one that you feel when you lose something important to you?

The physical pain that we feel is actually described in many biological texts as a sub-conscience alert to protect your body at the point where it hurts. It’s generally temporary and most of the times, doesn’t last above a month. It’s can be described as when you feel sensations through your body which you don’t like and don’t want.

However, the pain of loss is like a wound which  keeps bleeding till you die. No matter if it’s small or big, you can’t do anything to it. It never heals completely too, even if it somewhat does due to the ‘filling of the void’ [essentially replacing the item lost]. It’s a pain that can only be ignored, like a scar which hurts every time you touch it ; so you start ignoring it and forget about it slowly, but most of the times this take years and years and sometimes, lifetimes (which we don’t have).

The pain of loss is much more excruciating. When you get it, you don’t wish to remember it, but that wish itself cause you the pain of remembering it. When in loss, your body just doesn’t feel right, like it’s empty or something. No blood flow, no organs, no brain, nothing. It’s the weirdest feeling you’ll ever get. And I guarantee you that you will feel it, because nothing is eternal, everything has it’s own time as humans.

Therefore, in fear of pain for a second, don’t make decisions that you’ll regret a lifetime. Embarrassment, confidence, ego and all these emotions last only a moment. Regret lasts a lifetime. Do all you can do to live a regret free life; a life which you desire.

You’ll know that you’re living without regrets when you know that while you might just die in the next second, you can still laugh freely like a child.
